Our story

Taqueria Guanajuato was started by Maria Morales, her husband and her son. It was born out of Maria's desire to own a Mexican restaurant and share some of her family Mexican food recipes with her neighbors in Springdale, Arkansas. 

They serve fresh made tortillas, slow-braised meats, seasonal and fresh local produce. The restaurant is built around quality food and great service. Their goal is to embrace everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer and combine it with the authentic Mexican food recipes our family used in Guanajuato, Mexico.
